Second Coming of Jesus Christ<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I’m reading in the Joseph Smith Manual<\/a> about the signs of the second coming of Christ. Here they are:<\/p>\n

  1. pestilence<\/li>\n
  2. war and bloodshed, sword, great wars, rumors of wars<\/li>\n
  3. moon will be turned into blood<\/li>\n
  4. famine<\/li>\n
  5. great destruction<\/li>\n
  6. great distress<\/li>\n
  7. judgements<\/li>\n
  8. “whenever you see the [rain]bow withdrawn, it shall be a token that there shall be famine, pestilence, and great distress among the nations, and that the coming of the Messiah is not far distant.”<\/li>\n
  9. Judah must return<\/li>\n
  10. Jerusalem must be rebuilt<\/li>\n
  11. temple must be rebuilt<\/li>\n
  12. water come out from under the temple<\/li>\n
  13. waters of the Dead Sea be healed [see Ezekiel 47: 1-9 for numbers 9-13]<\/li>\n
  14. signs in the heavens<\/li>\n
  15. signs on the earth<\/li>\n
  16. sun turned into darkness<\/li>\n
  17. earthquakes in divers places<\/li>\n
  18. seas heaving beyond their bounds<\/li>\n
  19. one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven. But the world will say it is a planet or comet or something similar, but it will be “as the light of the morning cometh out of the east”<\/li>\n
  20. all flesh subject to suffer (righteous and wicked)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
